Conversation Headers

The conversation header provides a great deal of information, including: the author’s name, role (user, employee, etc.), and avatar, as well as the date and time the conversation was first posted. The conversation title is displayed in a large font near the top of the view. Click on the author’s name to be taken to their full user profile on Get Satisfaction. Click on the conversation title to open up the conversation in the community in a new window.

Beneath the avatar and conversation title, you’ll be able to gather additional information:

  • Number of Followers: The number of people that will get an email notification when new replies or comments are posted to the conversation
  • Number of Me Too’s: The number of people who have voted on the conversation
  • Number of Replies: The number of people (including employees) who have replied to the topic.

The details of the conversation, posted by the conversation’s author, will appear directly underneath the additional information. Tagging options will appear to the right hand side of the conversation details.

The author’s original sentiment, and the conversation type and status (easily changed by using the drop down menu), are available in the upper right hand corner of Detail View. Conversation Moderation Tools are available from the menu indicated by the triple dots icon.

Conversation Headers

When scrolling in detail view, the conversation header will stay at the top of the view in order to keep the business user in context.
